Ayurvedic Remedies for Sun-Tan in Monsoon
Reasons like increasing levels of dust and pollution, increased stress levels when combined together hasten the aging process and thus make us lose faith in chemical beauty products. They act as a deterrent, compelling many of us to look for a replacement and look for less harmful alternatives.
Switching over to ayurvedic beauty products is a much less damaging process than sticking by the inorganic counterparts the market is flooded with. The inorganic ones may look very luring with the promise to bring instant results but may do more harm than good to the skin. The natural ones, on the other hand, may let their results be visible only after a certain period of usage but they are much more beneficial in the long run.
Since the sun is playing hide and seek these monsoons, let’s find out some easy ways on how to remove tan with these natural remedies that can be easily made at home. They will help repair the affected cells, revive sunburn skin and make it glow as well.
Home-made Ayurvedic Anti-Tan Remedies
1. Tomato and lemon juice face mask
Take a couple of tomatoes, blend them into a puree and mix four tablespoons of lemon juice in it. Apply it on the tanned areas and wash it off with water after a while or around twenty minutes.
2. Sandalwood powder and tender Coconut Water face mask
Take the sandalwood powder and make it into a paste with the help of tender coconut water. Apply it on the tanned skin and wash it off with water after a while. You may replace coconut water with rose water or use the juice of cucumber instead.
3. Aloe Vera for Tan Removal
Taken a broken Aloe Vera leaf and rub it directly onto the tanned skin. Wash it off with water after a while. You may also use its fresh juice as one of the primary ingredients in your homemade pack if you do not wish to use it directly. You can also use the Forest Essentials Aloe Vera Gel.
