Intense Perfumed Body Mists
In India, perfumes and scented objects have been used from pre-Vedic and Vedic periods for religious ceremonies, societal customs and daily rituals. Since then, they have become an intrinsic part and parcel of human life. In Ayurveda — a more than 6,000-year-old-Science — perfumes have medicinal values which are well-known. Dhupan or medicated fumigation was a preventive approach taken to eliminate the airborne infection. Medicated oils and powders were prepared from perfumes and used on external cuts and bruises. Perfumes were also used to anoint various body parts or Anulepan. Chewing paan or betel leaves (Tambulam) was used to clean the mouth, leaving it fragrant. Scented oils were used to massage the body (Abhyanga) and keep the skin smooth, healthy and invigorated.

Chandani Raatein or Moonlit Nights: Recommended to be worn after dark, at the heart of this perfume lies seductive floral overtones of Ruh Motia and a fresh note of White Jasmine (Nayamalika), which bring a soft and evocative vibrancy to the fragrance. Sourced from Madurai, Tamil Nadu in Southern India, Jasmine is also known as the “Flower to the Gods”. Plucked at dawn, when the flower reaches its maximum potency, Jasmine has a sweet, calming fragrance that helps relieve stress and release tension. Imbued with fragrant Golden Champa and delicate Raat ki Raani (Queen of the Sky), Chandani Raatein finishes with a sensorial base note of a deeply opulent Sandalwood. Also known as Chandan in India, Sandalwood is known to have balancing and cooling properties.
