As a result, they need to be constantly cleansed and nourished with natural and chemical free products, to maintain the pH levels of their delicate skin. While the importance of washing hands was realized as late as in the 1900s in the west, Ayurveda believed in cleansing oneself before and after taking anything around the personal sphere of the body. In the Vedic era, washing of the hands became a ritual from the traditional practice of drinking water by making a cup from folded fingers. Since hands became a medium for the consumption of water, cleansing of hands became a precursor of anything that involved drinking, eating or measuring. We, at Forest Essentials, have crafted deeply purifying, moisturizing and nourishing hand care, enriched with Ayurvedic herbs and fresh fruit. It is essential to keep your hands clean and nourished at all times as they can further spread infections. To do so, take a small amount of the Deeply Moisturising Hand Wash Mandarin & Neem and lather it well. Rinse with water and pat dry. Then, apply a small amount of the Ultra-Nourishing Hand Cream Mandarin & Neem to clean hands and massage it into the skin. Leave some hand cream on the nail beds to deeply nourish and strengthen them. The skin on your hands will now look plump, nourished and soothed with the delicate fragrance of citrus and Neem.
Dead skin cells on the skin reduce the amount of absorption of any creams or serums you may apply. Therefore, exfoliation every few days or once a week is highly recommended to renew the skin cells and improve penetration of hand creams or serums, and to also exfoliate and brighten the skin of your hands. Massage a small amount of the hand polisher onto damp hands, for about one minute. Rinse well with warm water and dab dry. Follow up with a small amount of the hand serum and massage well, for effective and visible results. Together, the ingredients of this duo lend unrivalled smoothness and dazzling radiance to the skin with an impeccable satin finish.

As constant washing of hands depletes the skin’s delicate barrier, it is essential to moisturize hands post a good wash. The Forest Essentials Ultra-Nourishing Mandarin & Neem Hand Cream is a velvety rich formula that gets quickly absorbed in the skin to protect, nourish and moisturize the hands. Oils of Almond, Apricot and Coconut are blended with raw Honey, Avocado and Shea Butters to create this effective hand cream. Its texture creates a layer of protection on the hands that prevents moisture loss, even after constant washing.
The Forest Essentials Blood Orange Hand Polisher is prepared with sea salts, organic Honey and potent Ayurvedic herbs to remove surface dead cells by gently exfoliating the outermost layer of the skin. This is also enriched with moisture replenishing cold pressed oils of Sweet Almond, Sunflower and Apricot, which deeply nourish the innermost layer of the skin. This hand polisher luxuriously buffs the dead skin cells and allows the absorption of the silkening serum to follow. The Forest Essentials Blood Orange Hand Serum is formulated with cold pressed Sweet Almond oil, Jojoba Seed oil, Aloe Vera leaf juice, and potent herbs which are rich in omega-3 and antioxidants. This light yet rich serum glides easily onto the skin, while it increases elasticity, nourishes, softens and plumps the skin.
